In this anticipated sequel to 2001's Intimate Intentions (released by Genesis), Honey is struggling with trust issues when it comes to men. Although she has feelings for good friend Jay Andrews, she is compelled to end their friendship, which is fraught with sexual tension.

Unwilling to allow Honey to push him aside, Jay is determined to see them together. But just as things start to look up for them, Jay's old flame announces that she's pregnant and wants him back in her life.

Although much more graphic than her other novels, Daniels' latest gives readers a terrific mystery, comedy and romance. Dealing with some serious subjects—domestic violence and rape—the author lightens the tone with humor and love. (Feb., 326 pp., $14.00)
