WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN ... (4) by Crystal Green: A generation-long feud between two families shows that even nice people can act like idiots. Juliana Thomsen has come to Japan to meet with art dealer Jero Mori, who has found a watercolor that her family wants her to buy. Juliana's great- great-grandmother was the lover of the artist, Terrence Cole, and is the subject of the sensual art. They wanted to marry, but Cole gave in to pressure from his family and wed someone else. Now, not only is Juliana trying to get the painting, so is Tristan Cole. Years before, Tristan and Juliana were attracted to each other but could not break with their families to make the relationship work. Japan is an interesting and well-presented background, and this story is romantic and original.
