WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING ... (4) by Isabel Sharpe: Alana Hawthorne feels responsible for her younger sister, Melanie, who moves from one loser to another. When Alana learns that Melanie has found another man and intends to move him into their house, she visits him. Through some mishaps, she ends up asleep in bed, having an erotic dream. In the morning there's a man in the bed with her, and he thought she knew he was there and consented to sex. To her embarrassment and anger, the man is Sawyer Kern, the man her sister intends to marry. Not that Sawyer knew anything about Melanie's plans. This lovely story is about not jumping to conclusions and having faith in yourself and others. All the characters are complicated and sympathetic.
