Whiplash by Catherine Coulter

FBI agents are busy and intense. They can be called upon to juggle a number of cases the same time. Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich are looking into the case of a so called accident involving the Vice President of the United States in Maryland and supervising Agents Bowie's investigation into a break in a pharmaceutical company in Connecticut . There was also a "murder of a foriegn Schiffer Hartwin employee behind the drug company's U.S. headquarters."
I was drawn into the story with its realistic and gritty descriptions of the events that unfolded. Great dective work on the part of our FBI agents is what kept me interested.
Erin Pulaski unwitting involvement also kept me riveted . She is investigating the shortage of the drug , Culovort which is critical in the treatments of some types of cancer. All of this is central to Bowie’s part of the case . The backdrop is Connecticut and Schiffer Hartwin Pharmaceutical Company.
The bad guys certainly get theirs in the end . However it is always a amazing what people will do for money .and that jealousy can drive you to unspeakable acts.
A wonderful addition to Ms. Catherine Coulters FBI thrillers.
