Meredith Graham considers herself the queen of cat-and-mouse flirting until movie star Jacob Wilde comes into her life. He throws her off balance, catching her in one embarrassing situation after another.

Things get complicated when she starts editing the books to complement the childrens video series hes working on. When fans interfere with their private time, Meredith has second thoughts about developing the relationship.

Humor is strained in some scenes, but the characters have the personality to make the novel work. Readers should enjoy the second book in the Glenbrook series. (July, 260 pp., $9.99)
