Kerry WindWalker, the mother of a three-year-old daughter, Peggy, finds herself in the middle of her worst nightmare when her daughter goes missing. Jared Colton is perusing a construction site when he finds a very small set of footprints that go into a pipe, but do not come back out. It doesn't take him long to figure out that someone is in trouble—a very little someone.

The romance between Jared and Kerry is sweet. It was fun to watch the big-time bachelor fall hard for the beautiful Kerry. A womanizer, Jared has admired Kerry in the past and saving her daughter might just give him the chance he needs. Kerry, however, was deeply hurt by Peggy's father and to trust again is quite a challenge for her bruised heart. Join in as Jared does his best to sway this stubborn single mother.
