THE WHITE ORDER
by L.E. Modesitt Jr.

Genre: Science Fiction, General Science Fiction

RT Rating

In an ingenious twist, L. E. Modesitt takes us deep into the heart of her May paperback reprint in which an orphaned boy named Carryl comes to Fairhaven to learn to control the forces of Chaos and become a great magician. His training is difficult enough, but it becomes positively dangerous when he provokes the wrath
of a jealous white wizard.

Although long-time fans may have trouble rooting for any practitioner of white magic after years of seeing matters from the point of view of the Black Order, theres no denying the appeal of the intriguing Carryl.
