Book Review

WHO DO I LEAN ON?
by Neta Jackson

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

The third book in Jackson’s Yada Yada House of Hope series ties all of the plot and characters together. It’s fascinating to see the growth of the characters, especially Gabby, who learns that God is the only one she can truly lean on.

Gabby has finally regained custody of her boys and sets forth to make a home for them in their new apartment. She’s surprised to discover that her husband Philip has been gambling when he asks her for a loan to cover his debts. Gabby must rely on God’s direction, even when it seems contrary to her own plans and timing. (THOMAS NELSON, Jun., 400 pp., $14.99)
