WHO WANTS TO MARRY A HEARTTHROB?

Author(s):

Ad executive Richard Wells sees the Bachelor-esque TV show he's producing for a client as the final steppingstone toward starting his own firm. So when one of the women vying for his bachelor's hand is a no-show, he's desperate enough to push his plain assistant, Bridget Connor, into substituting. Irked by constant affronts to her femininity, Bridget finds a way to advance in the competition—and goad Richard into exploring their long-ignored chemistry, which teaches both a lesson they didn't expect. Stephanie Doyle's deliciously satirical Who Wants to Marry a Heartthrob? (4) is a laugh-a-minute farce with some tender moments.
