WHY NOT TONIGHT?
Now that stockbroker Adam Clayton has retired from his high-stress job, he plans to see the world, then find a new career and Ms. Right. But while taking care of a friend's photography business, he meets the woman he loved and let get away. Mallory Altman wants provocative boudoir pictures, hoping to reignite a stalled relationship with another man. She's ready to settle down. When it's obvious it won't happen with her boyfriend, Adam and Mallory bond, just two days before he embarks on his trip. Why Not Tonight? (3) by Jacquie D'Alessandro has a good setup and sympathetic characters. But the pacing is slow in places. There's too much remembering the past and not enough conflict.
