by Nina Bangs

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Quirky, fast-paced and surprisingly touching, Bangs’ seventh installment in the Castle of Dark Dreams series will delight fans and new readers alike. Her well-crafted world is full of colorful, larger-than-life paranormal troublemakers and zany plot twists, but doesn’t shy away from the starker reality of her hero’s immortality. His battle with his inner demons ups the ante for his love with a remarkably strong mortal and adds a touching emotionality to the mayhem.

Viking Thorn Mackenzie has been searching for a suitable reprisal against Sparkle Stardust, the woman who used him and left him nearly 1,000 years earlier. His unlikely revenge takes the form of Nirvana, an amusement park, built directly across the street from Sparkle’s Castle of Dark Dreams, where Thorn can use his formidable powers of persuasion to make the wildest fantasies come true — and bleed Sparkle’s business dry. Desperate to save herself, Sparkle hires Kay Stanley to infiltrate Nirvana and bring Thorn down. It takes only one heated meeting for Kay to realize where her true loyalties lie, but the cost of revenge is high, and these two unlikely lovers may never have the chance to escape the wrongs of the past.
