As a favor to a friend, translator Evie Wharton is teaching for a semester. Just when her usual wanderlust kicks in, she gets attached to one of her students -- and attracted to his father, wealthy businessman Justin Dane. The distant but passionate man and the lonely boy are both in serious need of a nurturing Wife and Mother Forever (4), but Evie's not sure she's the right woman to fill the vacancy. The first installment of Lucy Gordon's Rinucci Brothers trilogy is a strong effort. Angst-ridden Justin (who was abandoned as a child) is an outstanding hero, and sunny Evie provides an effective counterpoint to his emotional darkness.
