THE WIFE CAMPAIGN
THE WIFE CAMPAIGN (4) by Regina Scott: Ruby Hollingsford’s merchant father is determined to see her future secured by marrying her off to an aristocrat. To that end, he accepts an invitation to a house party from Whitfield Calder, Earl of Danning. Ruby has no desire to marry, especially not an aristocrat. Surprisingly, neither does Whit, who was not the one who sent the invitation. However, with two other young ladies and their families in attendance, he has no choice but to play the host and soon finds himself relying on Ruby to help him entertain his other guests. The second in the Master Matchmakers series is an enjoyable tale in which readers will meet a number of intriguing and entertaining characters.
