WIFE BY DESIGN (4) by Tara Taylor Quinn: Several years after she helped take care of his brother in the hospital, landscape architect Grant Bishop asks nurse Lynn Duncan to recommend Darin for an out-patient physical therapy program. Lynn is happy to recommend the brain-damaged man for the program, especially if it means spending more time with his brother, Grant: the only man who ever tempted her while she was married. Realistic problems make Wife By Design a strong novel. Quinn’s skill with dialogue is particularly evident in the conversations involving Lynn and Grant, who are never condescending to their disabled charges.
