Book Review

by Janelle Denison

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense
Sensuality: SCORCHER

RT Rating

Loosely connected to Denison's Wilde series, this fast-moving story has some familiar faces. The sex scenes are hot and explicit, and the mystery is well done. However, the hero and heroine come across as self-centered, and the heroine sometimes exhibits a lack of understanding for others.

When gubernatorial candidate Nathan Delacroix gets a threatening letter, he hires Ben Cabrera as
his daughter's bodyguard. Christine doesn't mind, because it gives her a chance to get to know Ben, something she's wanted to do for a while. Ben doesn't believe in mixing business with pleasure, but he hasn't ever come up against forces this seductive. (Berkley Sensation, Jun., 320 pp., $7.99)
