WILD NOTION (3), by Cathy McDavid, adds charm and warmth to a tale that is also filled with danger and romance.

Claren Phillips and her young son Eric witness three men attack an apparently homeless man. Claren drives off the thugs with her truck, then attempts to aid the injured man. When Tanner indicates that the police and the hospital are unacceptable, Eric insists they take him home to recover. While his presence is initially viewed with suspicion, his hard work and patience soon wins everyone over.

Hiding out while he recovers is a lucky break for Tanner. But he didn't plan to find his boss lady attractive or be charmed by her kids. Unfortunately, Tanners dangerous past threatens to resurface.
