Thomas enchants fans with another offering in the Whispering Mountain series. There is magic as Thomas tempers the rough texture of the era with tenderness, allowing readers to savor the atmosphere and yet understand the harshness and unpredictability of Texas life. It is Thomas’ understanding of the Texas spirit, infused in her story, that deeply touches readers’ hearts and souls.

Rose McMurray hasn’t left Whispering Mountain in years, but when an old school friend requests she be her maid of honor, Rose heads for Fort Worth. Adopted McMurray and Texas Ranger Duncan is in town on business and vows to keep an eye on Rose.
