Sexy. Funny. Vulnerable. Each tale in this anthology is dripping with lust and seduction. All three writers are magnificent in their storytelling, and each tale flows right into the next. Aside from the sex scenes, which are reason enough to pick up this anthology, the underlying themes of letting go of fear and following your heart make this book an endearing must-read.

Three meddling grandfathers plot to bring their grandchildren home and get them married. In McKade’s “Wild,” Andrea Adair has stayed away from her hometown since her parents’ death, leaving behind her fiancé Brody McGrath. Believing her grandfather is ill, she rushes home and comes face to face with her past. In Fox’s “Wet,” celebrity chef Katy tires of life in Chicago and seeks to rekindle her relationship with fireman Trent, with her grandfather’s help. In Duncan’s “Wicked,” Dr. Danica Kent’s high school crush on Braydon Mitchell is still intact. Braydon’s grandfather convinces him to come home for his reunion — and to cross paths with the good doctor. (SAMHAIN, Mar., 342 pp., $14.00)
