This series seems fresher with every book, and the story of hardass wolf shifter Graham finally showing his vulnerable side is one this reviewer has been waiting for. Graham is all alpha, all the time, and for readers who like seeing the tough guy reveal his creamy marshmallow center, it doesn’t get much sweeter than this. These are characters you’ll fall in love with, and the tiniest quibble is the too-brief appearances of favorites from previous entries. This book is going to leave readers clamoring for the next installment.

Wolf shifter Graham McNeil has been putting the good of his people first for decades. His human girlfriend, Misty, is supposed to be temporary while he decides on a wolf mate. But when he comes to her rescue after she’s kidnapped, he finds himself cursed by the Fae, as well as hopelessly wrapped up in Misty. The only question is whether he can keep both of them alive long enough to decide what to do with her. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Apr., 320 pp. $7.99)
