WIND OF THE WOLF
by Cindy Holby

Genre: Historical Romance, Historical Fiction
Setting: 1860 Wyoming

RT Rating

This month, Cindy Holby continues her Native American saga, which began
with Chase the Wind. Jamie Duncan and his sister, Jenny, have settled into Jason Lynch's huge spread like they were family. With Jenny and Chase
happily married, the eclectic family of cowboys and their women pass their
days waiting to see if the election of Lincoln will start a war.

Life is sweet for all: Jenny is expecting but keeping it secret, and Jamie meets and weds the love of his life. But tragedy strikes on their wedding day. Jamie is shot and killed by Jenny's old enemy, Logan. Chase doesn't wait to see his blood brother buried, so he tracks Logan with plans to kill him.

Long flashback passages and the lovers' extended separation slow the
pace and lessen the emotional intensity of this romance. SWEET (Jun., 352
