Mary Burton's Wise Moves (4.5) starts out like the typical "witness under protection, then on the run" story, but quickly escalates into a fast-paced read full of character emotions, secrets, betrayal and trust. With a five-million dollar reward on her head by her 'drug-king' brother, Elena Benito changes her name and appearance to go on the run. In a new town, she has a new beginning but meets someone who is about to bring
her new world crashing down. Special Forces/FBI agent Dane Cambia intends to use Elena as bait to catch her brother. He wants revenge against Antonio for killing his sister. He nevers counts on falling in love with Elena. Betrayal and trust blend together in a climactic ending in this great read.
