Gerri is used to not fitting in, but after a particularly bad week she wishes for a chance to do the past seven days all over again. To her surprise, not only is her wish granted, but things don't follow the exact same path as before. Des has guarded his heart carefully for a long time, but there is something about Gerri that makes him feel things he thought long forgotten, though he's not sure whether he can trust himself, his heart or her. Diane Pershing's THE WISH (3) takes us down that tempting what-if-we-had-it-to-do-over-again road with a truly entertaining read.
