This delightful romance has a fascinating mystery and characters that really come to life. There's also a number of interesting secondary story threads that come together seamlessly and a suitably dissolute bad guy.
Freya Daly is sent by her developer father to convince single dad Nate Brody to sell his campground in Idaho. Unfortunately, Nate promised his dying father that he wouldn't sell it until he found the purple "thing" that's supposed to be hidden there. Once he does, he'll take daughter Piper and return to Cincinnati, where he owns a restaurant.
But there's a lot more to Freya's father's desire to buy Nate's land than she can ever imagine. As some interesting information comes to light, it becomes apparent that the attraction she feels for Nate may not be the only thing they have in common. (forever, Nov., 304 pp., $6.99)
