Launching a murder-mystery weekend package is important to events planner Meg Renshaw. So, naturally, everything that can possibly go wrong does. Worst is the unexpected appearance of Matt Rossi, who owns the property they've rented for the event. A developer, Matt's mired in the mundane, but he can't resist helping out imaginative Meg when the actor playing the victim is incapacitated. Matt can't resist Meg either, and the feeling is mutual, but how can such opposites have a future? Trish Jensen's Without a Clue (3) has a familiar plot, but the chemistry and sexy banter between Matt and Meg compensates nicely.
