After Kate Winthrop steals back money from her ex-husband, she decides to avoid him by embarking on a Caribbean cruise. Cole Hunter's boat seems like just the ticket -- even if working onboard is part of the package. Kate and Cole find instant attraction, but she can't tell him why she's there. When shady characters try to sneak onto the boat, however, she realizes she's brought her troubles with her. Inglath Cooper's A Woman With Secrets (4) is full of complex issues. Kate is dealing with the fallout from
her ex-husband's betrayal and trying to rebuild her self-esteem. Cole, meanwhile, must cope with his angst over trying to find his ex-wife, who has disappeared with their daughter. The ending is emotionally satisfying, with both Kate and Cole getting what they need.
