RT Rating

Delene D'Angelo is a probation officer caught up in a crime that, eventually, brings back a danger from her own past. Homicide detective Troy Cavanaugh is heading the investigation and finds himself caught between chasing Delene and chasing the killer. An intriguing beginning pulls readers into Marie Ferrarella's The Woman Who Wasn't There (3), but the love story slows a bit as the heroine and hero play a constant cat-and-mouse game.
