Yvonne Jocks has compiled a marvelous anthology that
provide a glimpse into the philosophy of modern witches. Well-written fiction, intriguing characters who divulge Wiccan wisdom and duty, and the added bonus of uncomplicated spells relating to each story, all combine for a compelling work that's hard to put down. NOTE: Two of our reviewer's favorites are highlighted below. Twelve stories and simple spells by Wiccans and their friends. In Maggie Shayne's Anytown USA it takes the support of a minister's wife to change the prejudice of Christians when faced with Wiccans moving to their community. Rosemary Edghill's Wiccan amateur sleuth Bast involves herself in a mystery that leads to a Christian Ceremonial Magician in The Iron Bride.
