The con is on in this madcap adventure from romantic suspense maven McCall. The protagonists are on a treasure hunt for hidden loot and the author does a good job keeping the action hopping. You can always count on McCall to add a dash of well-placed humor to her stories. Another great romp that is romantic and adventurous!

Psychologist Norah MacArthur wants everyone to be interested in her new book on relationships, not her con-man father Lucias’ involvement in an infamous robbery case. After 15 years, Lucias is about to be released from prison. FBI agent Trip Jones plans to stick close to Norah both for her protection and to have first crack at retrieving the still-missing stolen property. What he doesn’t expect are the sparks he and Norah ignite. With a variety of players all determined to cash in, the danger keeps growing! (BERKLEY SENSATION, Nov., 326 pp., $7.99)
