This is a touching romance about best friends finding out that love was right in front of them the whole time. It has plenty of sizzle, but none of it is gratuitous. We get to see the interior feelings of both leads in this lovely little contained look at two people that any reader would love to call friends. A beautiful story!
Once upon a time Kate & Nate were two childhood pals that crowned the TV sets of America. Now all grown up, Kate and Nate are Abby and Zach, still the best of friends, but far from Hollywood. Abby is a caterer in Tucson, and she’s more than happy to be out of Hollywood and in control of her life — until her fiancé dumps her. It’s a good thing she has her best friend Zach to lean on. Zach, too, has left the glitter behind and is happy designing gorgeous tattoos — and being near Abby, who he has been in love with since he played her BFF on TV. When Zach finds out that Abby has decided a torrid affair is what she needs to kickstart her life, he decides he is going to be the man — if only he can get her to see him as more than her oldest friend.
