WRONG SIDE OF DEAD
Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy
Former Dreg City hunter Evy Stone has defied death yet again, but the fallout from missing mad scientist Walter Thackery’s experiments continues to haunt them all. Meding’s excellent series takes several dark turns as Evy’s world grows ever darker. Told partly through flashbacks, friendships are challenged and betrayals uncovered as Evy is left struggling to save her friends and her city. Another terrific chapter in a powerful series.
Although Evy survived being tortured at the hands of Thackery, she finds her world changed, for the Triads are now nearly broken. With half-blood vampires somehow managing to keep their sanity, Evy and her teammates are in greater danger. Then there’s the return of the werewolves, a species thought long extinct, but now working for Thackery. New alliances must be forged, but the cost will be high as Evy’s lover Wyatt Truman is attacked. Time is running out as Evy struggles to both track down Thackery and save Wyatt!
