THE WYOMING COWBOY (3) by Rebecca Winters: Trying to find a way to give back, Carson Lundgren opens a dude ranch for the families of fallen servicemen — which brings him face to face with pretty widow Tracy Baretta. Struggling to overcome the loss of her husband and help her son cope with his absence, Tracy accepts an invitation to the ranch. She doesn’t count on her instant and immediate attraction to Carson, and her son’s adoration of the man. Is a week enough time to change all their lives for the better? Winters’ trademark emotion and angst are present, but the story feels rushed. However, the description of the Teton Mountains makes a beautiful backdrop.
