WYOMING MANHUNT
by Ann Voss Peterson

Genre: Series

RT Rating

City-girl accountant Shanna Clarke must flee through the woods when a hunting trip turns her into the hunted. She's not sure why her boss is trying to kill her, or why she suddenly finds herself charged with two murders. The only thing she's sure of is that ex-cop/ex-con Jace Lantry might be her only hope of staying alive. After being falsely convicted, Jace tried to lose himself in the backwoods country, but when a terrified woman shows up on his doorstep, something compels him to help her. Ann Voss Peterson ratchets up the action with crooked cops, an SEC investigation and flying bullets, making Wyoming Manhunt (4.5) a first-class read with sympathetic characters, a brutal environment and a satisfying conclusion.
