With the sixth book in her Yada Yada Prayer Group series, Jackson doesn't show any signs of slowing down. The author's faith-affirming fiction will encourage readers to plumb new depths in their own faith. Her cast of characters is large, but each one is so uniquely written that it's easy to keep everyone straight. Those new to the series will want to start at the beginning to get to know the characters of this well-written and emotionally meaningful story.

The Yada Yada Prayer Group has been together for a year and a half and has seen its membership through many trials. Each of the women is learning that God's plans are higher than her own plans, no matter how noble those might be. Issues such as failing health, HIV, a prison ministry and dealing with infants later in life
are all matters of prayer. Where will the next year take these women? (THOMAS NELSON, Apr., 405 pp., $13.99)
