You is a lovely, yet sad and haunting story of love, betrayal and the consequences of the choices people make. Not a light read but certainly one never to be forgotten. The characters will stay forever embedded in readers’ memories.

An affair Dora Bannan had changed her young daughter’s life forever. Now that Dora has cancer, Cecilia is back to care for her — and she wants answers. The answers she seeks may once again change the lives of Dora, Cecilia and her young daughters. Cecilia didn’t like her parents’ bohemian lifestyle and disliked the unstructured environment. When she met James Dahl, her English teacher, his structured nature appealed to her desire for change and their eventual affair resulted in a child which was promptly given away. This decision has haunted her all her life. Now that she’s back in her childhood home memories are stirring, old loves are reigniting and the choices once made come back to roost.
