It was quite a coup for Breeland Girls Academy to have Nobel Prize-nominated biochemist Eli Liontakis teaching for the summer. Teacher and dancer Lisa Kincaid issued the invitation before all the Nobel Prize hoopla. To her surprise, Eli accepts the offer.

Nothing is more important to Eli than the well being of his 10-year-old daughter Grace. Having been in the car accident that killed her mother, she must now live with the father she saw infrequently. Elis acceptance of the Breeland offer is contingent on Grace attending Lisas dance class.

When Lisa and Eli meet, their chemistry is electric. However Lisas scarred past has made her wary of love and commitment and Elis former in-laws are trying to gain custody of Grace.

Ms. Hart has a truly wonderful knack for building emotional drama into her stories. Plus in Eli Liontakis, she has created one completely fascinating and truly memorable hero. (Dec., 384 pp., $5.99)
