YOU'LL BE MINE IN '99

Using a small-town beauty queen as the spokesperson for a new car isn't marketing director Joel Carter's idea, but when his boss pegs librarian Katy Sloane as the woman he wants to fill the slot, Joel's forced to go along with it. Katy is attractive but not interested in entering the contest, until mild blackmail does the trick. It's a great career move but doesn't impress Katy—who suddenly tops Joel's to-do list! Jennifer Drew's newest, YOU'LL BE MINE IN '99 (3), is fast-paced and fun, and has a particularly sympathetic heroine.
