After being stalked by her ex-boyfriend, 34-year-old Solange DuPree finally gets up the nerve to re-enter the dating field. While traveling to Ethiopia with friends on a rescue mission, she meets handsome Rupert Giles. Thoroughly intrigued by each other, Solange and Rupert spend countless hours exploring the land and culture of Ethiopia. In each other's arms they find more in common than a passion for a foreign land. Yet each is troubled by secrets untold.

While reading FOR YOUR LOVE, I found the plot failed to really hold my attention. In addition, Ms. Sims takes a travelogue approach and incorporates scattered philosophical view points—awkwardly—in this novel, making it more of a travel guide than a romance novel. However, on the subject of the history and geography of Ethiopia, FOR YOUR LOVE is very informative. (Jul., 253 pp., $6.99)
