Book Review

YOU'RE ALL I NEED
by Karen White-Owens

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

The unfinished threads in this story prevent this from being a unique telling of interracial love. The obstacles presented are stereotypical and do not create sympathy for the characters. And in this day and age, Tia’s family’s reaction to their relationship seems a bit over the top.

Tia Edwards is happily working at the U.S. offices of a French car company. Her position in the legal department fits perfectly with her plans to continue toward a career in law. To that end, her boss dangles a law clerk position in exchange for her help with Christophe Jensen, a gorgeous lawyer from the Paris office. As she helps him get settled, the pair finds that their cultural and racial differences only add to their chemistry. (DAFINA, Oct., 337 pp., $6.99)
