2011 RT BOOKLOVERS Convention
April 6-10
Los Angeles, CA

The best thing about attending an RT convention is that there is something for everyone in our book-loving community. Workshops led by top-selling authors are set up just for fans so that in addition to the parties and events, there is a full program of author chats, our famous Wild & Wacky Reader Party, fun games (like Bad Boy Bingo) and, of course, lots of giveaways!

Over the years our bookseller program has become one of the best in the industry, with a comprehensive program designed to help booksellers thrive in this challenging market.
But our pièce de résistance is our Writers’ Program, with more than 100 cutting-edge workshops that will take you into the future of publishing.

This year, we will offer workshops in 15 genres, including a full program for two hot markets: young adult and graphic novels. There are also programs for craft, business, media, marketing and social networking. We’ll also have several workshops on the ever-growing e-book market, and experts will help you navigate the pros and cons of this medium. Workshops on screenwriting for both TV and film, as well as insiders’ tips for those who are looking to break into the Hollywood scene, will also be offered.
