Being published is wonderful, but seeing that first-born "child" make it into print is something truly special.

SACRAMENT is the first book I wrote, and I am excited about the fact that Dorchester will publish it in their Gothic line. Gothics have inspired me ever since I read Wuthering Heights. It was only natural that my first book should be of that same dark genre.

Sarah Ashton knows she can never compare to her dashing friend, Corina, who is beautiful and slightly crazy. Regency Bath has too many rules for Corina and she has broken every one of them. But not staid, ordinary Sarah. She toes the line.

When a man whom the ton swears is the devil himself lays claim to Sarah's ancestral estate, chaos descends upon her ordinarily mundane life. Julien Davinoff appears from nowhere, the lost owner of neighboring Thornbury Abbey to contest her deed.

Corina lays siege to his affections, but it is Sarah who attracts Davinoff's notice. He finds her far from ordinary. Corina, on the other hand, has never been thwarted with her desires. Not once in her entire life. When she takes her revenge on Davinoff, Sarah must rescue this devil of a man. Locked together in a cellar, Davinoff, ill and weak, reveals his true nature.

He is the stuff of nightmares.

What do you do when the man you love is a vampire?

How do you find the courage to embrace the darkness?

Accepting the sacrament of Julien's love will damn Sarah's soul for eternity or redeem them both.
