Sometimes life hands you lemons. And when it does, take those lemons and shove them right up life’s…well, you get the picture. A little crude, yes, but this is Penelope Trudeau’s motto, and it’s carried her through some pretty tough times. But will it be enough when life shows up with a giant truckload sour yellow fruit? No. There’ll be no muscling her way through these problems because Penelope’s mother has been struck with a mysterious illness that can only be treated with some very pricy medicine. This time, Penelope needs help. Penelope needs money.

So let me ask, how far would you go to save someone you love? Would you give your life? Mortgage your house and sell everything you own? How about accept $1,000,000 to carry a wealthy man’s baby? I’m guessing most of you are with me in the “yes” department.

Now let’s say that the man’s sister shows up, is insane, and has apparently been stalking you. You have serious doubts that anyone in that the family should be anywhere near a child. How’s that money looking now? Have you moved with me over to the “maybe not” department?

Next, as you’re trying to think this through, the woman grabs your arm and paralyses you while deciding to have conversation on her cell phone about naked clowns and parties? Clearly, something about this woman just isn’t right. Now would you take the million dollars? I’m thinking you’ve moved all the way over to the “No way. I just couldn’t do it.” department.

All right, final question. You turn down the money, but the crazy woman offers you $500,000 just to meet her brother—aka, the wealthy man looking for a surrogate—who you’ve already happened to get a peek of and know for a fact he’s just about the most gorgeous, tall, sinfully built man you’ve ever seen. There are no strings attached other than to hear him out. Well, I can tell you right now, I’d do it. In a heartbeat.

But when Penelope accepts the meeting, she’s in for quite the ride because nothing will go as planned…
