Hope Tarr Stamps Out Pet Proliferation

September is a big month for Hope Tarr. The historical romance author will not only see the debut of her Jove novel, TEMPTING, but also a "pet project" very close to her heart.

As a volunteer project director with the Prevent a Litter Coalition (PaLC), Inc., Tarr founded the Pet Overpopulation STAMP OUT Project, a grassroots effort to get a U.S. stamp approved that would remind Americans to have their pets spayed or neutered. Naturally, this determined lady succeeded and the U.S. Postal Service will issue not one but TWO U.S. commemorative postage stamps, bearing the adorable, furry faces of former shelter pets. They go on sale this September in post offices across the country.

Of course, Hope's love of pets couldn't help but creep into her "other job," as well. TEMPTING's heroine Christine Tremayne is devoted to her tabby, Puss, and when the kitty gets trapped in a boarded-up brothel, it's handsome Simon Belleville to the rescue. Is it any wonder she falls for him?
