Cover Reveal: Tamed by Stacey Kennedy

BY DJ DeSmyter, OCTOBER 06, 2014 | PERMALINK

It must be cover reveal season because we have yet another exciting reveal today! And this one turns up the heat, which is good because some of us are not quite ready for this chilly NYC weather. Today, we're revealing the sizzling cover for Stacey Kennedy's Tamed, the fourth book in her Club Sin series, which releases next March. Let's get to it!

USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy returns to the tantalizing world of Club Sin in an enticing novel of control and surrender.

Porter Marshall has nearly achieved his goal of becoming a Club Sin Master, but his new sub poses a much bigger challenge than he anticipated. Despite their mutual attraction and red-hot dungeon sessions, Kenzie Hart plays her own games. Her bratty, you-can’t-break-me attitude masks terrible personal hurt — pain that only the exquisite touch of a skilled Dom can release. But when Porter suggests taking their connection to the outside world, Kenzie denies him ... which only makes him want her more.

Witches of East End Recap: 2.12 and 2.13 — "Box to the Future" and "For Whom the Spell Tolls"

BY Elissa Petruzzi, OCTOBER 06, 2014 | PERMALINK

All right, finale time! This is a two-hour adventure, so we’d best get started.

We start out with Killian drinking the poison. There’s no antidote, an Eva 2.0 voiceover helpfully reminds us. He collapses.

Back in the 1800s, the ladies are snoozing, waiting for midnight. Jo heads off to get the weapon from Past Jo, and plans to meet Wendy and Freya at the time door in one hour or they'll all die.

Time travel, amirite?

Killian’s in the throes of his poisoning and hallucinating. He talks to a Dream Freya, who tells Hallucinating Killian that she’s really alive. She gives him a giant flower and tells him to call Ingrid. Killian looks confused. Which is not a new expression on him, let’s be honest.

Back at the manse, Ingrid awkwardly runs into Freddy. She’s still pretending to be going back to Asgard. Killian calls her Ingrid rushes out. Like all of the sudden he’s a priority.

Bad Grandad is weakening. Freddy tells him he doubts Ingrid is really coming back to Asgard. She’s been hanging out a lot with Dash, whom they know as Bastion from the old world.

Cover Reveal: Luck on the Line by Zoraida Cordova

BY DJ DeSmyter, OCTOBER 06, 2014 | PERMALINK

Young Adult author Zoraida Cordova is making the jump from YA Sci-Fi/Fantasy to New Adult Contemporary with Luck on the Line, the first in her new On the Verge series. This sexy read is coming your way on November 11, and to help celebrate, we have the exclusive cover reveal! (And don't forget to check out the end of the post for an advanced copy giveaway.)

Let's state with seeing what this book is all about!

To turn her life around, she’ll have to stand the heat. To fulfill his dreams, he’ll have to get Lucky.

Despite her name, Lucky Pierce has always felt a little cursed. Refusing to settle for less or settle down, she changes jobs as often as she changes boyfriends. When her celebrity chef mother challenges her to finish something, Lucky agrees to help her launch Boston’s next hot restaurant, The Star. Even if it means working with the infuriating, egotistical and undeniably sexy head chef.

James loves being known as Boston’s hottest bad boy in the kitchen, but if he wants to build a reputation as a serious chef, he has to make this restaurant work and keep his scandalous past out of the headlines. Getting involved with his boss’s spoiled, sharp-tongued daughter is definitely not on the menu.

BY DJ DeSmyter, OCTOBER 02, 2014 | PERMALINK

A little competition never hurt anyone, right? Well, New Adult authors Rhonda Helms and Shannyn Schroeder are going head-to-head for a Swoon-Off between their heroes. Rhonda's Daniel from Scratch will battle it out with Shannyn's Phin from Her Best Shot, the first in her new Hot and Nerdy series.
