Apple recently launched Quick Reads, a new section in their iBookstore. Quick Reads offers short stories and novellas, all available for less than $5.00. Found in the "Books" section of the Store feature on iTunes, Quick Reads hosts short works of non-fiction and fiction, available for download directly to a computer or Apple mobile device.

Readers may remember that we recently reported on the new Kindle Singles program, which is Amazon's answer to the burgeoning market of novellas and short non-fiction. Quick Reads will be another great destination for fast e-reads. We were thrilled to see that the iTunes' fiction section is already good place to find novellas from established authors in all genres.
