RT BOOK REVIEWS: Can you give us a brief overview of your latest release How to Wed a Baron? What were some of the inspirations you used in your story?
Kasey Michaels: How to Wed a Baron is a sort of salvation story, I guess. I created a secondary character for How to Beguile a Beauty, and once I’d given him even a little bit of back-story, I knew I had to save this poor man from himself. He’s made mistakes in his past, and they continue to haunt him in the present. So what he needs is the love of a good woman, yes, but also a woman who will shake him, wake him, and allow him to make himself vulnerable again. And let’s face it, there’s no one more appealing to a woman than a wounded hero who doesn’t realize he needs to be rescued from himself.
