This year has brought so many things to be grateful for - my family, friends, good health and my first grandchild. I am grateful for an understanding boss who let me take 3 months off from work to help take care of her. It was not an easy request to make since my son lives in Japan, but it is also one that I have been thankful for every day that I have been here. I am also grateful for a husband who was willing to let me go for this long and who has been sending me my copy of RT each month.

I am thankful for my family and friends. It's been a tough year, but with them by my side and cheering me on... I don't think I have enough to words to say how grateful I am for having them in my life.
*oh fudge ripple, look you've gone and made me tear up just thinking about it... anyone got a hanky handy?* ;o)

I'm very thankful for my family. My wonderful husband who took me to Scotland in August for his birthday, because it was a dream of mine. I'm thankful for our two son's who have become giving and loving men, they make me proud every single day. I'm thankful for our two beautiful and healthy granddaughter's and their beautiful mother. Though our oldest son, his wife and daughter's live on the other side of the world (Okinawa Japan) our daughter-in-law sends us messages, texts and pictures daily of our granddaughter's and keeps us up-to-date on what is going on with them. We are very lucky, and thankful, that we live in this time of amazing technology where we can communicate in "real" time with our loved ones who live so far away.
