Cover Trend: For The Birds

Please, somebody tell me they are noticing all of the birds on the covers on recent and upcoming releases. Young Adult and Urban Fantasy covers seem to be the biggest contributors but really, winged creatures are turning up all over the place. I'm seriously having Hitchcock-inspired nightmares!

Perception by Kim Harrington

The Confession by Charles Todd

Horizon by Sophie Littlefield

The Bitter Seed of Magic by Suzanne McLeod

On a Dark Wing by Jordan Dane

Raven Calls by C.E. Murphy

The Oracle of Stamboul by Michael David Lukas

The UK cover of Divergent by Veronica Roth
