Aspiring writers, you've got one more week to submit your novella to the second annual Writing With the Stars Contest. Once again, RT BOOK REVIEWS has teamed up with Kensington's Brava imprint in order to give one lucky aspiring author the chance to have their story published.

This year we are keeping things short and sweet — contestants will submit their novellas for publication. The Kensington editors and authors will select the top eight submissions to compete in the contest. In each round the novella authors will showcase a different aspect of their story in hopes of winning the grand prize, having their novella published by Kensington Brava!

The contest is only open to aspiring and self-published authors, so all of you who have a manuscript hiding under your bed should pull it out, dust it off and send it in. The stories can be in any romance subgenre, from historical to contemporary, full of paranormal or suspenseful elements, all romance novellas are welcome. The novella should be between 15,000 - 20,000 words in length. To enter simply email a word document attachment of your complete manuscript, a two-to-seven page synopsis of your novella and a cover letter to Marketing@KensingtonBooks.com. The subject line of your email must be "Brava Contest." Submissions close on August 15th. Best of luck!
