Five On Friday: Newly Announced Inspirational Book Deals

There are so many great book deals being made in the inspirational market that we’ve decided to devote a new special column to them! This week we are introducing our weekly series on five of the most interesting book deals — just after they’ve been announced! 

Author Janice Thompson has two projects she will be releasing soon. The first is a “Love Finds You...” title from Summerside Press — this time love bloom in Daisy, Oklahoma and features a young lady who takes care of orphans. The other project is a three book series about a group of feisty “belles” who come together to help each other. Titles in the series include Wedding Belles, Sleigh Belles and Belles and Whistles.

Annalisa Daughety's next novel All Shook Up will be published in Fall 2011. The story features a wedding planner who falls in love during Elvis Week at Graceland. 

Later this year, Lynette Sowell will release The Sweetness of Starlight about a Texas high school football coach who longs to escape his small town. But he rethinks his game plan when he finds possible love with a local beekeeper.

In Darlene Franklin’s upcoming novel, A Bride’s Rogue in Roma, a conservative young woman inherits her absentee father’s boat. However, in order to claim the vessel she must confront the shady captain who is known as “River Rat”. Release date TBA.

In the newly formed state of Arizona a Ranger goes after the bad guy in Susan Page Davis' upcoming Almost Arizona. But while on the hunt, the hero realizes that he is being followed by a beautiful woman who is attempting to distract him from his mission. No word yet on when Davis’ book will publish, but the novel, set in 1912, promises to be action packed.

Pitched as Lost meets Gone with the Wind, Marylu Tyndall's The Heart’s Escape follows a group of Southerners as they leave the U.S. after the North wins the Civil War. The travelers decide to settle in South America in hopes of reestablishing their way of life. This story will hit shelves in Fall 2012.
