Paranormal - Shannon K. Butcher has just sold the next three books in her Sentinel Wars series published by NAL. 

Urban Fantasy - Pocket has just purchased books 5 and 6 of Adrian Phoenix's popular series The Maker's Song. 

Young Adult - Readers will get an additional title to Gena Showalter’s series Intertwined. The author will also release Alice In Zombieland, the first in a series featuring a teen girl who wakes up after an accident and realizes the world has become overrun by zombies. 

Mystery - The eleventh book in Kathryn Wall’s Bay Tanner mystery series, Jericho Clay, will be releasing from St. Martin’s. 

EXCITING DEBUT AUTHOR

Mainstream Fiction - Ashley Ream's debut novel, Ripening Clementine, will follow a famous artist through a month in her life as she decides whether or not to commit suicide. 

HOME TOWN AUTHOR

Suspense - Brooklyn native and RT neighbor Katia Lief has just sold two suspense novels to Avon. No date set for release. 

PIQUING OUR CURIOSITY

Fantasy - A Steampunk-esq feudal Japan? Thank you Jay Kristoff, for this new spin on the popular Steampunk genre. The author's upcoming novel Stormdancer kicks off a three book series and we can't wait!

Historical Romance - Author Gabrielle Kimm will be delving into the mysterious disappearance of a Medici duchess who vanished after three years of marriage in The Courtesan’s Revenge. Release date: TBD. 

Young Adult - Publishing in June 2012, Jill Williamson's YA novel Jason Farms is a eerie tale that starts when a girl finds an underground lab of clones that look just like one of her schoolmates.
